The rising cases of COVID have forced the government of Rajasthan to shift focus to testing in the rural areas of the state and accelerate and intensify awareness drive in the rural areas as well as upcountry segments.  The Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot gave these instructions in a pandemic review meeting on 26 November.

Gehlot said the authorities and health department should work on flattening the curve in line with the guidelines of the central government. He also reviewed the measures that were taken recently, which included the night curfew in eight major districts of the state, including Udaipur.
