Rajasthan Governor Issues Orders Appointing Vice-Chancellors at 3 Universities
Vice-Chancellors appointed at Jaipur's University of Rajasthan, Sikar's Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University and Bikaner's Maharaja Ganga Singh University
UdaipurTimes, Sept 25, 2026 - Rajasthan Governor and Chancellor Haribhau Bagde issued orders on Thursday, September 24, appointing Vice-Chancellors at three universities in the State in consultation with the State Government.
Dr Bhagwati Prasad Saraswat was appointed Vice-Chancellor of the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur; Dr Yudhveer Singh Vice-Chancellor of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University, Sikar; and Prof. Narsi Ram Vishnoi Vice-Chancellor of Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner.
The appointments have been made for a term of three years from the date the Vice-Chancellors assume office, or until they attain the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.
