Rajasthan Breaking News: 304 New HPCL Fuel Outlets as ₹400 Crore Investment Plan Gains Momentum

Udaipur, June 27, 2026 | Rajasthan Government News: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) will invest Rs 400 Cr in setting up of retail outlets across Rajasthan. With already 304 government owned land identified across the state, HPCL will enter into a lease agreement with the Government of Rajasthan next month to formalise the arrangement.
Chief Secretary Reviews Fuel Infrastructure Expansion
This was communicated today afternoon in a high level meeting today that was attended by Chief Secretaray Srinivas, senior officers from the Rajasthan Government and representatives of HPCL and HRRL.

Lease-based Allotment Policy
As per the updates given in the meeting, a policy will be formed by the end of July 2026 to allot/give sites on lease to HPCL for establishing the retail outlets. HPCL/HRRL have requested for preferential supplier status under the RTPP Act for fuel procurement by state government departments, which will eventuall maximise the utilisation of HRRL's refining capacity within Rajasthan.
Those present at the meeting included ACS Mines Aparna Arora, ACS Homes Bhaskar Sawant, ACS Higher Eduction Kuldeep Ranka, ACS UDH Alok Gupta, Principal Secretary Finance Vaibhav Galaria, Principal Secretary Revenue T. Ravikanth, HPCL Director Marketing Amit Garg and other senior officials.
