Nitin Gadkari, Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, stated that Rajasthan's roads will resemble those in the United States by the end of 2024, making it an optimistic and successful state. Gadkari made this statement while addressing the crowd during a ceremony to lay the cornerstone for a number of construction projects in the village of Pakka Sarna in the Hanumangarh district.
"I promise you that by the end of 2024, Rajasthan's roads will be made at par with those of America's. Due to these roads, Rajasthan will also become a happy and prosperous state," Gadkari said.
Gadkari dedicated and set the foundations for seven ROBs and six national highway projects, totaling Rs 2,050 crore, as part of the Setu Bandhan project. Additionally present were Members of Parliament Nihal Chand, Rahul Kaswan, and Narendra Kumar.
"There should be freedom from poverty, hunger and unemployment. The farms of the farmers should get water, youngsters should get employment, the country's imports should stop, exports should increase and farmers should become millionaires by becoming food providers and energy providers," he added.
