In response to Gulab Chand Kataria's question on how many youngsters were trained for four hours a day to get unemployment benefits, the state government stated that from January 2022 to January 15, 2023, 1,67,937 applicants participated in the scheme.

The state government stated in the Assembly on Tuesday, 14 February,2023 that it is important for such unemployed youngsters who have previously been trained to conduct internships in various government departments for 4 hours a day, receive unemployment benefits. Those who have not been trained will have to do a mandatory 4 hours internship after receiving three months of skill training.

The current government has increased the unemployment allowance amount to Rs 4000 per month for youths and Rs 4500 per month for women, people with disabilities, and transgender people. This sum may only be distributed to a maximum of 2 lakh young people.

In order to address the growing incidents of crime in the state, the Rajasthan government in its 2021-22 budget had announced an increase of 58% Sub Inspector posts. To do this, the Constable posts were reduced by 3677 and this number was added to the 6323 Sub Inspector posts, thereby taking the number of SI posts up to 10,000. However, since this announcement, only 73 additional posts have been filled up, which is less than 2% of the announced increase.
