Rajput Girls Hostel to be Inaugurated by Pratibha Patil
A Girls Hostel founded by Mewar Kshatriya Mahasabha is ready to inaugurate by the Honorable President of India - Pratibha Patil on her upcoming visit to Udaipur on 11th May 2011.

Meera Medpat Girls Hostel is situated in Bhuwana, Udaipur. Constructed on 20,000 sq.ft areas with 20 rooms, a dining hall, VIP dining area hostel has all latest facilities which could make it as the best girls’ hostel in Udaipur.
The Mewar Kshatriya Mahasabha – an independent organization of Rajput society of mewar initiated the idea of having a safe, sound and top accommodation available for girls’ students of their community.
In a press conference held today, Balu Singh Kanawat – President of Mewar Kshatriya Mahasabha said that it is a matter of coincidence that the foundation stone of the hostel was led by Late Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, when Ms. Pratibha Patil was governor of Rajasthan state and also led that event. This time she herself is going to inaugurate it.
The hostel has a strength of accommodating 50 college going students, hostel will maintain a proper academic environment to facilitate the girls.
Hostel will be managed on the strategy of no loss-no profit, there would be special consideration in fees for economically weak students.
Besides residential area of hostel, there would be two big halls which is going to be use as community meeting, seminars or religious gatherings.
Mewar Kshatriya Mahasabha is an independent social faction of Rajput community of mewar region actively working since post independent. The organization is dedicated in giving their service for betterment of society in various areas of education, religion, culture and social.
Rajput Kshatriya has a rich social and cultural legacy, protecting their heritage while making needful reforms in society is key objectives of the organization.
Meera Medpat is going to start admission in June, the first preference would be students from rajput community, even working women can apply for admission.
If seats would be available, the authority can also allow non-rajput girls.
By paying the fee of Rs 2000 to Rs. 2500 per month a student can enjoy comfort and safety in Meera Medpat Hostel.
