Unidentified miscreants cut off the electric wires somewhere between Mavli and Bhimal stations. As a result Ratlam Express train got stuck for 2 and half hours.

The Ratlam Express train leaving from Udaipur had to stop at Bhimal station for 2 and half hours as miscreants cut off copper wires that were laid on the track for electrification work. The train could proceed only after the track was cleared which took more than 2 hours.

It may be noted that railway track electrification work is in progress on Ajmer-Udaipur route. Pillars have been erected enroute and power lines have been laid. Miscreants do not stop anywhere; they cut off the copper wires spread on the track. Railway’s engineering wing reached the site in a special train and repaired and cleaned the track. Ratlam Express had reached Bhimal at 1:50 a.m. and could leave after repair work only around 4:30 a.m.
