October 28, 204 – An accused in the REET-2021 paper leak case was arrested by the Cyclone Team of the Inspector General of Police (Range) Jodhpur, under Operation 'Bench Warmers'. Kiran Sihag of Barmer had been evading arrest for the last three years.  

The accused was apprehended near Khedapa on Nagaur Road while returning from Sikar in a car with her friend. The vehicle bore a Delhi license plate and had a FASTag Gujarat number. A separate case of fraud has been registered at Khedapa police station.

IG (Range) Vikas Kumar reported that an FIR had been registered against Kiran at Balotara police station in the REET-2021 paper leak case.

Police received a tip that she was traveling from Sikar to Jodhpur in a car with a Delhi number plate. The car was stopped at a roadblock and both Kiran and her friend Dinesh were arrested. Kiran was handed over to the Balotara police. Dinesh was detained too and a separate case of fraud was registered against him.
