City is getting ready for colorful tableaux, cultural dance performances and attractive march past and parade at Maharana Bhupal Stadium on 26^th January for District level Republic Day ceremony.

Add. District Collector (City), Mohammad Yasin Pathan informed that at 9:05 in the morning, various programs will start with the hoisting of the flag by the Chief Guest. On the occasion, various tableaux will be showcased displaying government’s schemes and the culture of Rajasthan.

Rehearsals for the program started from today and they will continue till 24^th January when combined final dress rehearsals will be conducted.

Pathan said that State Tribal Minister, Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya will be the Chief Guest and that Malviya will honor the achievers in various fields on the day.

SP Hariprasad Sharma said that Police is well prepared for the occasion. He said, “We have already started putting more blockades on the entry and exit routes of the city and will soon be securing the sensitive areas in the city. On the Republic Day, a large number of policemen will be on vigil during the event; some of them will be in the civil dress.”
