Udaipur, October 2, 2024 – Yesterday, October 1, 2024, the police department underwent a reshuffle carried out by the state government. A total of 114 officers serving at the Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) level have been reassigned. Out of these, three ASPs who were stationed in Udaipur have been transferred while one has received a promotion and posted here.

Salumber DSP Hitesh Mehta was promoted and appointed as ASP of Udaipur's Women Crime Investigation Cell. Motaram Godara has been transferred to Jalore, Rajat Bishnoi from Abhay Command sent to Rajsamand's Women Crime Cell while Manjeet Singh from Mewar Bhil Corps Kherwara to Banswara's Leave Reserve.

Manjeet Singh had previously served as the City ASP of Udaipur in 2022.
