Patients are facing problems as hundreds of resident doctors have put their pens down in protest against a patient’s attendant who allegedly slapped a resident doctor on Tuesday night of 28th January.

The resident doctors association has called for strike until the accused is not arrested by police. A meeting of senior police officials with hospital administration also took place today.
Dr. Kaptan Singh, president of Resident Doctor’s Association demanded quick arrest of the culprit and also forced to strengthen the security measures in hospital. MB Hospital Superintendent Dr. D.P Singh, Principal of RNT College Dr. Chandra Mathur met with Ad.S.P Lakhman Singh and other police officials regarding the incident.
Senior Doctors have took control of hospital’s routine work and attending patients in absence of resident doctors.
