Udaipur Resident Doctors Strike

The dispute over salary issues that led resident doctors to propose a strike has been resolved. Successful talks between the college administration and the Resident Doctors Association resulted in the strike being called off. This resolution has directly benefited the more than 5,000 patients who visit MB and maternity hospitals daily.

All resident doctors returned to work. The issue arose when Additional Principal Dr. Vijay Gupta issued an order that prevented resident doctors from receiving their stipends on time.

Following the dispute, Principal Dr. Vipin Mathur handled the situation. The contentious order was revoked, and it was decided that stipend payments would continue as per the previous procedure.
