A roadways bus crashed into a heavy earthmover today on Udaipur-Salumber Road near Jaisamand, nearly 50kms from Udaipur. 7 people have been injured due to the accident and have been admitted at M.B Hospital, Udaipur.

At around 12.30 pm today, the Madhya Pradesh State Transport bus collided with an earthmover at Maudi village near Jaisamand. The bus was on its way to Udaipur from Ratlam. Seven travelers have been seriously injured due to the crash.

Two of these passengers belong to Udaipur: Bhagwan Lal (45 yrs) from Hiran Magri Sec-14 and Nisha (35 yrs) from New Flora Colony respectively.

The other injured passengers are Kanta 23 yrs from Aaspur, Murlidhar 45 yrs from Barwana (Aaspur), Durga 45 yrs from Sirohi, Kajal 45 yrs from Sirohi and Deepak Pathak 25 yrs from Dholpur. Family member of injured people are being intimated respectively. Atleast one person is reported to be injured seriously and admitted to ICU ward of the hospital.

The wounded passengers were bought to Udaipur and were admitted to the Maharana Bhopal Hospital where they were provided with primary treatment.

Unfortunately, one death have been reported yet due to the mishap. The police have registered the case at the Hathipol Thana.

UPDATE: A 3 year old girl died in this accident, she was traveling wit her mother and belongs to Madhya Pradesh.
