The afternoon Volvo bus service between Udaipur-Jodhpur that was started recently has been terminated due to poor response.

The afternoon Volvo bus service between Udaipur-Jodhpur has been discontinued since no significant bookings were made for it. On 2nd April, the bus took 15 passengers to Jodhpur but after 5 days, only 7 passengers showed interest in the booking.

The cost to run a Volvo bus on the route is around Rs. 10,000 for each commute of which Rs. 2500 is paid as wage of driver and helper while Rs. 5000 is the cost of Diesel and Rs. 2500 is accounted for under maintenance.

The 6AM and 4PM Volvo gets good number of passengers and hence the afternoon Volvo is discontinued.
