As the only school in Rajasthan to have this collaboration, Rockwoods School will offer meritorious students from 9th to 12th grade the opportunity to pursue the course of their choice through Access MCA as an alternative to the general curriculum. The advantage of this program is that students who wish to study abroad after 12th grade will be eligible for direct admission to the second year of renowned international universities and colleges through Access Michigan College Alliance.
Deepak Sharma, Director of Rockwoods School, stated that Access MCA is a collaborative program with Access Michigan College, where university courses will be taught to Rockwoods students by professors from Michigan College through online pedagogy. Students will be able to earn college credits that will appear on their Michigan College Transcript. They can complete their first year of college online while residing in their home country. After completing this course, students will be granted direct admission to their respective colleges. Essentially, this marks the integration of college education with school education. Students can begin this program in 9th grade and will have completed their first year of college by the time they finish high school, completing one course per semester.
Deepak Sharma further explained that students can seek admission to MCA Access member colleges and universities, as well as apply to select colleges where MCA Access transfers their earned credits. This includes top private universities and colleges in the United States such as Adrian College, Albion College, Alma College, Andrews University, Aqua Honors College, Calvin University, Detroit Mercy Hillside College, Hope College, Kalam College, Madonna University, Olivet, Siena Heights University, and Spring Arbor University.
Bhavin Shah, CEO of Education World and Managing Director of Access Michigan College Alliance, assured that students will be guaranteed admission through this program.
