People finding it difficult to reach the temple via stairs will find it quite  convenient after the ropeway work is complete.

34 trees are to be felled for which due permission has been taken from the forest department.

The ropeway will be 400 metres long and 12 trolleys will accommodate 72 people at a time.

Udaipur city is about to have its 2nd ropeway. Work is in progress for the Neemach Mata ropeway which is expected to complete by the end of 2021. 

The ropeway at Neemach Mata will make it quite convenient for a lot of people who are unable to take the stairs to the temple. Visitng one of the most loved temples during navratras will become an easy task. UIT is likely to have a grand income of 90 lakh rupees per year through this ropeway. It will consist of 12 trolleys or cars which will accommodate 72 people at a time. 

Damodar ropeway and Infra ltd. after receiving NOC from the forest department began the work for this ropeway. It has also been informed that 34 trees are to be felled for which forest department has granted their permission after surveying the area. The land for the ropeway falls under reserved forest area. 

The company having the contract for this ropeway started the geo-technical investigation work for lower station near the hostel building of SIERT. They took samples of soil as well. The upper station will be at the slope behind the temple and soil samples have been taken from here as well. Once the reports of soil arrive, foundation will be laid for both the stations.
