Rotary Club of Udaipur Mewar to provide Free Heart Surgery to children
Rotary Club of Udaipur Mewar held its first press conference of the year at Hotel Vishnu Priya wherein the new committee was introduced and the yearly projects of the club were discussed.

It was announced in the press conference that Rotary Club of Udaipur Mewar will become the nodal agency for execution of various schemes of Government for the upliftment and betterment of children.
On this occasion, Rtn .Ron. D.Burton, Rotary India President, Anil Agarwal , District Governor , PHF. Nakshtra Talesra, Assistant Governor, Hans Raj Choudhary, Patron, Yogesh Pagaria, Immediate Past President, Kapoor C Jain, Club trainer, Rahul Agarwal, Vice President, Anil Mehta, President Elect, Mukesh Choudhary, President Nominee, Farooq Qureshi , Joint Secretary, Chetan Prakash, Joint Secretary, Dinmay Choudhary, Treasurer , Naresh Trivedi, Director- Club Service etc were present.
Yogesh Pagaria informed about the future programs of the club including adoption of the Nephrology ward of M.B hospital, providing hygienic water in the city and the nearby villages, free heart surgery to the children up to 14 years of age, and to provide support for specially challenged children.
Anil Agarwal informed that in this session, rotary district 3052 will try to carve out a space for itself via the services provided by its 63 clubs. Rotary will make all efforts in trying to reach out to every needful individual.
Patron of the club, Hans Raj Choudhary, informed that this year they have adopted the Nephrology Ward of M.B hospital and will provide the necessary equipments for the patients. In this ward, two dialysis machines have already been installed by the club. Besides this, Instruction boards will be installed at different areas of the hospital for the convenience of patients.
Club President, Arun Bapna informed media that the biggest project for the year of the Club will be the free heart surgery to the children upto the age of fourteen years. Along with this, club will provide 50 R.O plants to the cities and villages that lie in the periphery of U.I.T so that they can get fluoride-free water.
In addition to this Anil Agarwal also informed that they will contribute an amount of Rs 18 lacs for the rehabilitation of the Uttarakhand victims and the same amount will be contributed by the Foundation.
A task force committee has been formed for rehabilitation of the victims of the flood. This committee will also run a Routine Immunisation Program. The first seminar for this will be held on 28th July 2013 at Udaipur.
