RPSC Librarian Exam

Udaipur, February 17, 2025 - The RPSC Librarian Grade-II recruitment exam for the Secondary Education Department was conducted on Sunday, February 16,2025, by the Ajmer Commission. The exam was held in two shifts at 43 centers in Udaipur.

Low Attendance of Candidates

A total of 12,577 candidates were expected to appear for the exam, but less than half attended. In the first shift, 4,172 candidates (33.17%) took the exam, while in the second shift, 4,144 candidates (32.95%) appeared.

Strict Security Arrangements

Security was strict at all centers. The first shift was held from 10 AM to 12 PM, and the second shift took place from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. A gazetted officer was appointed as a deputy coordinator for every three exam centers.

A total of 1,050 personnel and 263 supervisors were deployed for monitoring. Special surveillance was maintained at four exam centers located far from the city, including Rab U Mavi Nai, Rau Mavi Debari, Rau Mavi Eklingpura, and Indo American Public School Balicha.

Exam Rules and Paper Pattern

Candidates were allowed entry up to one hour before the exam. Mobile phones and gadgets were strictly prohibited. The exam had two papers, each carrying 200 marks, with a duration of 2 hours. Negative marking was applied, with one-third (1/3) of the marks deducted for incorrect answers.

Difficulty Level of the Exam

The exam was moderately difficult. Some questions were tricky, while others were based on matching. Topics included general knowledge of Rajasthan, political science, and current affairs. Some questions were easy, while others required analytical thinking.
