Regional Transport Office (RTO) is about to launch a new series of registration numbers for 2-wheelers. These VVIP numbers will have numbers like 0001, 0003, 0005, 0007, 0009 and 786 in RJ-27-BY series. RTO Dr Sharma said that applications are invited for obtaining this new series.

The applicants will be required to produce the bill and proof of the taxes paid along with the demand draft with the prescribed application format. VVIP numbers will also attract biddings in case there is more than one application for the desired series.
