Sadhvi Gyanvati Left for Heavenly Abode
Hundreds of people from Jain community of Udaipur attended the funeral procession of Paramvidhushi Maha Sati Sadhvi Gyanvati, a cleric of Shwetambar Jain community who had passed away early this morning at 4:30 am at M.B Hospital; she was under treatment at the hospital from last few days.
Her funeral procession started at 2pm from Oswal Bhawan at Ashok Nagar to the crematorium (Moksh Dhaam) at Ashok Nagar. Many members of Jain community from all over the state including Premlal Mehta (President of Jain community), Himmat Badala (Supremo of the community) and National Vice-President of Jain community, Omkara Singh Siroya were also present

Rajni Dangi, Virendra Dangi, Shankarlal Dangi and Ganesh Lal Mehta and many other renowned persons from the city also attended the funeral procession.
According to the sources, Sadhvi was from Shraman Sangh and apprentice of Maharaj Pratapmalji Maharaj and Guruni Madan Kunwar.
Sadhvi Gyanvati had left food and was only on medicines since 18th Feb., which is also known as Sadharan Santhara. But before 9 hours of her death she had given up medicines also a condition which is called Sampurn Santhara.
She was born at village of Badjal near Devigarh on 18th February 1939 and was known as Gattu Devi in her childhood. On 16th January 1965 she took Bhagwat Diksha from her Guruni Madan Kunwar in Madhya Pradesh.
