-With the increasing heat, the display area timings and the diets of the animals in the park will also undergo changes.
With the summer season showing its effect and the afternoon heat taking its toll on the masses, certain time schedules need to be amended. This also applies to the tourist spots and the respective departments are amending the timings for the benefit of tourists.
Following this, the timings for Sajjangarh Bio-Park have also been changed. The forest department has extended the timing of the Bio-Park by half an hour. Earlier the Bio-Park used to stay open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., now it will be opened until 5:30 p.m. The forest department officials also said that the sanctuary will be open until 6 p.m. which earlier was until 5:30 p.m.
The changed timings are going to be comfortable for the tourists as well as they will get more time to observe the natural beauty in the park and the sanctuary. The diet of the animals will also be changed based on the summer season and the display area timings will be decided accordingly.
It may be noted that a tigress from Chennai has been shifted to Sajjangarh and has been kept under quarantine for the time being. The arrival of this tigress is likely to increase the tiger family in the park.
