With the arrival of the winter season, operating hours at Udaipur's popular tourist attractions, Sajjangarh Fort and Bio Park, have been adjusted. Both destinations will now close an hour earlier in the evening to align with the shorter daylight hours.

New Timings for Sajjangarh Fort

Sajjangarh Fort, a major historical attraction, will now be open from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Previously, it operated from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM during the summer season. This change allows visitors to enjoy the site during daylight while ensuring a safe and pleasant experience as temperatures drop in the evening.

Bio Park Adjusts Schedule

The Bio Park, another favourite among tourists and locals, will now open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. In the summer, it remained open until 6:00 PM. The park management has made this adjustment to accommodate the earlier sunset during winter, ensuring all visitors can experience the park fully before dusk.

Reason for the Change

This one-hour reduction in operating hours is a routine adjustment made every winter. The shorter days and earlier sunsets during the season necessitate this change for both safety and convenience, allowing visitors to complete their trips well before it gets dark.
