The excise department has manufactured sanitiser so that the shortage of the product can be dealt with. The sanitiser is being regularly prepared in the Ganganagar sugar mill at Madri. The wholesale price is 37.50 rupees per 180 ml bottle and 50 rupees /180ml is the retail price.

The sanitisers are being given from the Rajasthan State Beverages Corporation Ltd. (RSBCL) godown in Pratapnagar. Private medical colleges and hospitals will be given 25 boxes, medical stores 5 boxes, registered organisations 25 boxes and the regular organisations will be given 5 boxes at per day basis.

One box consists of 48 bottles of 180 ml each. The boxes will be given on the presentation of valid documents. The mill is manufacturing 400-500 boxes per day. 

It has also been informed that 35000 litres of sanitiser has been manufactured under CSR fund in United Spirits limited at Madri. This sanitiser is being supplied free of cost to government hospitals in 10 districts. 5000 litres of sanitiser will be provided to Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bhilwara, Ajmer and Udaipur respectively. Pratapgarh, Jalore, Banswara, Dungarpur and Sirohi will be provided with 1000 litres each.
