Udaipur, February 12, 2025 - Sumita Saroch, senior tourism officer and Joint Director of the Tourism Department headquarters at Jaipur, will now take command of the Regional Tourism Office in Udaipur, as per the orders of the Joint Secretary of the Tourism Department. She will take over her new post after March 10, following the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) event in Jaipur on March 8-9, 2025.

Talking about her new assignment, Saroch said that she was committed to taking Udaipur, a city with a distinct identity in the field of global tourism, to new heights in line with the State Government's vision. She added efforts will be made to turn the city and its surrounding areas into prominent tourism destinations.

Saroch has previously worked in Udaipur.
