A private school has been accused of torturing a student physically and mentally. Parents of a girl student studying in Heritage Boarding School in Eklingji have accused school administration for torturing their daughter.

Resident of Gujarat, Nandini Mod is a student of 9th standard in Heritage Boarding School in Eklingji. Her mother Dr. Vinita Mod has registered a complaint with DEO of Secondary Education that her daughter was not being treated properly and was being tortured at school. Nandini went into depression because of this physical and mental torture and injured her hand with a pen. School administration informed the girl’s parents about this act of hers. The girl’s parents demanded a transfer certificate and a refund of fees.

Nandini’s parents reported that they were not allowed to speak to her for 10 days. All this while, school administration tried to convince them that Nandini was hale and hearty and safe in school. Dr. Vinita Mod also said that Nandini was kept in a separate place and tortured.

School Principal Tulsi Bhatia in clarification said that Nandini was not tortured at all. She claims that all accusations are false. Nandini was not comfortable with other children in this boarding school and school administration was doing its level best to make her feel good.
