The Joint Action Committee of the RBSE and CBSE Private School Association has submitted a memorandum to the administration and police. They are demanding enhanced security measures for schools. The committee, led by Coordinator Jitendra Shrimali, requested the installation of CCTV cameras outside schools. They also called for the deployment of police personnel during school hours.
Shrimali emphasized that having beat officers patrol during school entry and exit times could prevent incidents like stabbings and fights. He suggested forming a special team to handle emergencies and reach schools immediately when needed.
The memorandum also proposed launching a citizen awareness campaign. The committee urged for regular meetings between the police, administration, and school management to ensure better coordination.
Additionally, they recommended starting a helpline number and conducting regular counseling sessions for students to address any issues and provide support.
