The government schools of 11 states will train their students of classes 1st to 8th the art of Rajasthan’s puppetry. The students will learn to make masks, paper bag and shadow puppets.

The government schools of 11 states will train their students of classes 1st to 8th the art of Rajasthan’s puppetry. The students will learn to make masks, paper bag and shadow puppets.

This is a unique endeavor to enable students learn art, culture and study the presentation of puppetry. CCRT (Centre for Cultural Resources & Training), Udaipur is training 70 teachers across 11 states. The training that commenced from 24th June will conclude on 15th July at Ambavgarh Center.

Presently, 4-5 teachers from each state are undertaking the training who will train others and students about this art form. Teachers from Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Sikkim, West Bengal, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh are not only partaking in this training but also adding their cultural imprints in this art.
