District Police, Udaipur has made special security arrangements for the occasion of Dhuleri on 21^st March. Police forces and other security forces are going to keep a watchful eye on the city’s happenings on the day of Holi.

As per information received, around 800 security personnel from police, Hadi Rani, BSF and MBC will watch over the city on 21^st March to make sure that the day goes safe for everyone. There will be 500 security personnel in the Udaipur city and 300 in the nearby regions. 35 out of these are going to be specially armed. Police will keep a keen watch on areas of religious and tourist importance. Even today i.e. 20^th March police will watch over all the places where Holika dahan will take place. Police will also keep a watch over people driving after drinking. Eve-teasing will be dealt with strictly. No one would be allowed to apply colours on passers-by forcibly.

Since today is the day of dahan, traffic arrangement has been changed for Jagdish Chowk. From 5 p.m. till the dahan goes on, entry of vehicles going towards Jagdish Chowk is prohibited from Rang Niwas, Chandpole and Hathipole areas.
