Udaipur is one of the 6 airports in the country where flaws were found with mandatory CCTV requirement. This finding emerged in a review meeting conducted by Union Civil Aviation Ministry on security at airports across the country.

Udaipur is one of the 6 airports in the country where flaws were found with mandatory CCTV requirement. This finding emerged in a review meeting conducted by Union Civil Aviation Ministry on security at airports across the country.

The review meeting found that six airports do not have the mandatory 30-day CCTV recording as required under the guidelines.

The six airports highlighted with less than mandatory CCTV recording include Udaipur, Dehradun, Amritsar, Dibrugarh, Bhubaneswar and Hyderabad.

Besides, ministry also found a set of other airports that did not have requisite number of cameras to cover the entire airport area.

This was the third meeting on security and on modern surveillance equipment.
