A seminar on Tax audit and VAT was organized today at Udaipur Branch of CIRC of ICAI. Organized by Udaipur Tax Bar Society and Tax Bar Association, the seminar emphasized on new provisions introduced in tax and VAT and how common citizens understood it.

Many important aspects were discussed, especially problems faced by tax payers and businessmen. According to traders, the provisions should be easy and hassle free. Many provisions are confusing and may form tax dispute in near future.

To begin the program, Society Chairperson Nirmal Dhakad welcomed all guests. More than 200 people from Tax Bar Association, CA Association, Advocates, Tax Consultants and representatives of trade unions attended the workshop.

President Prafful Bordia informed, “Tax expert Sandeep Jhanvar from Jaipur addressed the audience with detailed information about tax audit system.”

Yashwant Kothari, secretary of the society informed that Yashwasi Sharma, a well known expert in taxation also shared detailed facts and information about new provisions in tax and VAT.
