Sewage Leak at Bagore Ki Haveli

A serious concern has been raised by Tej Shankar Paliwal, a former Lake Development Authority member, about sewage water contaminating the vicinity of Bagore ki Haveli, a popular tourist destination. In his complaint to the Municipal Commissioner, Paliwal highlighted that a sewage line leak near the Western Region Cultural Centre's square is causing significant discomfort.

Visitors to Bagore ki Haveli, both from India and abroad, are greeted with unpleasant odours due to the leakage, and some are forced to navigate through sewage. The issue, according to Paliwal, is severely affecting the city's image, known for its historic charm and beauty.

Despite the installation of a new sewer line under the Smart City project last year, the problem persists. Paliwal expressed frustration over the municipal corporation's lack of response to multiple complaints filed online.

The community now looks to the municipal authorities for swift action to repair the sewage line and restore the area's cleanliness, preserving the heritage site's allure for future visitors.
