The district administration is all set to bring historic Ayad River in good shape, where district collector has instructed related authorities to immediately take action over falling sewerage into Ayad River. The respective department also has to ensure proper disposal of sewerage wastes of City.

Today, Ashutosh Pednekar, District Collector, Udaipur instructed to identify all the sewerage input points throughout the stretch of around 8 KM. Apart from this, they also have to discover nearest Sewerage Manholes from the point, so as to ensure that none of the sewerage wastes falls into Ayad River.

Pednekar further added that, “Through these manholes all the sewerage will be transported to STP (Sewerage Treatment Plan) and disposed into Udai Sagar Lake.”
