Bhinder's Shabbir Bohra Puts India on the Map at MAD Stars 2025
Shabbir Bohra Rundedawala and Komal Nathani from Mumbai deliver a powerful presentation on the impact of AI on the advertising industry
Udaipur, Sept 11, 2025 - Shabbir Bohra Rundedawala from Bhinder, a town in Udaipur district, and Komal Nathani from Mumbai have brought pride to India by winning the Bronze Medal in the New Star 2025 category at the MAD Stars 2025 event held in Busan, South Korea. Participants from 85 countries across the world took part in this prestigious event, which is organised annually in Busan.
MAD Stars is considered a leading global platform in the fields of marketing, advertising and digital content — showcasing the future of marketing and branding for global companies.
This year, the theme of the event was centred around the "Age of AI". Representing VML India, Shabbir and Komal delivered a powerful presentation on the impact of AI on the advertising industry.
Their core message was: “AI won’t replace you — but the people who understand and use AI will.” They stressed that AI is not something to fear, but rather something to learn about and embrace. Rather than being a threat, AI can become an assistant to humans, helping improve and elevate work.
Their insightful presentation left the jury deeply impressed.
Shabbir and Komal had worked hard on the theme with non-stop brainstorming. Both were overwhelmed when India was announced as the winner of the Bronze medal.
