This project was organized by Indian Institute of Health Management Research, (IIHRM), Jaipur and Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (gain), Geneva. The Director Dr. M. L. Jain introduced this scheme in the Media Workshop held at Hotel Oriental Palace Resort.
Under this scheme, the quality of wheat is enhanced by adding iron, folic acid and Vitamin-12. The same goes with milk and oil by adding Vitamin-A and Vitamin-D. Under this modification, the color and taste of the product are not changed.
