There have been shocking revelations about the gang that stole bikes in an around Udaipur city. Their organised way of theft is enough to surprise management degree holders.

The modus operandi of bike thief gang has been smart enough to make anyone drop their jaws. Though these members were barely educated, their ways of operating have been surprisingly smartly organised. This was revealed by the 4 gang members who were recently arrested this month.

It has already been mentioned that anyone who stole the maximum number of bikes was declared as leader of the gang. The rest of the members would follow instructions of this leader and would steal bikes as per his instructions. The gang had become quick enough to escape with bikes.

Another information revealed was that these members fulfilled their basic needs of food as well by means of theft. Whenever short of food, they used to steal food items and ration from here and there after performing a good recce of the area where there were ration shops. After the success of gang members in stealing bikes, the gang leader used to throw a party for them. For this, the leader was supposed to steal liquor and goat for the party. The condition of party was that after the grand success of stealing bikes, they would consume only stolen items in which liquor and mutton were their main menu and this theft was to be committed by gang leader only. After the success of getting food stuff, the gang used to enjoy near some temple in a forest.

Not to give up on the basic nature of socialising, the gang used to befriend females, too. For this, they would gift one of the stolen bikes to the female’s family whom they wanted to connect with. Then the gang members enjoyed with females for some time and leave to hunt for more females in the same style.

Police is trying to get deeper with investigations. They are now raiding all the spots revealed by this gang to get more details in this case. Until a few days back, 106 bikes have been recovered from this gang of thieves and it is being expected that they might have stolen other stuff, too.
