Heat wave has taken a toll on the tourist inflow in Udaipur. As per the numbers released by Maharana Pratap Airport Authority, Udaipur, May 2018 reported 8000 lesser passengers in the terminal as compared to April 2018.

Airport Director Kuldeep Singh attributed the significant drop of passengers to the heat. Number of passengers from Udaipur Airport were 97430 in May as compared to 105486 in April. This means a drop of 8056 passengers.

1056 flights were serviced from Udaipur Airport in May with about 30 flights being serviced every day.
