Udaipur, July 1, 2025 - Patients at all hospitals under RNT Medical College will now no longer need to stand in different queues. All services for beneficiaries of any health scheme will now be available at a single-window system. Additionally, anyone will be able to book an appointment online to consult a doctor in the OPD, while those opting for the offline method will receive a token.
Earlier, patients had to visit different counters for OPD slips, admission forms, or packages related to various illnesses, depending on the scheme they belonged to. This often caused inconvenience to both patients and their attendants.
To solve this issue, the single-window system has been introduced, with five counters set up at one location. Now, as soon as the patient arrives, all related work will be done at the same window. Special training has been provided to computer operators so they can efficiently use all relevant government health portals.
This system is initially being launched in the Super Speciality Building (SSB), and once resources are fully in place, the same facilities will be extended to all six hospitals under RNT.
RNT Medical College will be the first medical college in Rajasthan to start such a single-window plan at the government level, and the second in the State to implement a Q-management system.
If successful, the second phase of the new system will include making diagnostic tests and medicine distribution completely online. Doctors will be able to send prescriptions directly to the lab or pharmacy counters online, where patients can simply go and collect their test reports or medicines.
