As per reports, the dust clouds at the construction site were becoming a headache for the residents of the Zinc complex area. They even requested the contractor to spray water so that dust doesn’t engulf the atmosphere. Their requests fell on deaf ears and they forced the labour stop the work. As of now, only pillar work has been done. The constant transportation of vehicles at the kachcha road was giving rise to dust all over making it difficult for the people to breathe. The contractor was asked to take care of this dust by sprinkling water on the road but he did not pay attention to the complaint.
For an hour, the residents did not let the people work after which the contractor gave assurance that he would take care of throwing water over the road to stop the dust rising. Only after the action was carried out, did the residents allow construction work on the route.
