Nov 21, 2025 - Smriti Mandhana, fresh from winning the World Cup, is now set to begin a new chapter in her personal life. The star batter will marry singer Palash Muchhal two days from today, that is November 23. The Indian team is in a celebratory mood ahead of the big event, with players from Harmanpreet Kaur to Arundhati Reddy expressing their excitement. Meanwhile, pre-wedding rituals for Palash are also underway in Indore.
The couple’s wedding card has already been circulated. The card has been printed in the names of their grandparents, adding a traditional touch. According to sources, the wedding will take place in Sangli, Maharashtra which is Smriti’s hometown. Palash, who belongs to Indore, is also hosting ceremonies there. A large number of guests have arrived in hotels across both cities, and preparations are in full swing. Over the past few days, the homes of both families have been beautifully decorated as the celebrations continue.
As per reports, the pre-wedding celebrations started on Thursday. Groom-to-be Palash was seen wearing a kurta pajama, surrounded by relatives and guests with drums playing and flowers everywhere.
On the other hand, Smriti's teammate Jemimah Rodrigues made a reel about the bride-to-be in which Smriti is telling her teammates, Suit Silwale. Also, a few days ago, Harmanpreet had shared they were all looking forward to Smriti’s wedding.
Palash had first met Smriti during the Indian Women’s World Cup in 2017. Later, he proposed to her by singing a romantic Bollywood song in front of Palak. They have been in a relationship for almost six years. In 2024, the cricket–music duo celebrated their fifth anniversary by cutting a cake. After India’s World Cup win, Palash got Smriti’s name and jersey number 18 tattooed on his hand.
