-Traffic to become smooth after the flyover is constructed.

A flyover is expected to come at Kumharon ka Bhatta area. The preliminary tests have begun and the contractors have been directed to complete the flyover work within one year.

Soil samples have been taken and sent to the laboratory and it is being estimated that the entire project will attract a budget of 19.86 crores. The project was given a green signal by CM Ashok Gehlot a few days back through video conferencing. The firm in contract has taken samples of soil for testing. This is mainly to assess the depth of the foundation of the flyover. Once the report arrives, the work will begin at war-footing.

The flyover is very likely to ease traffic in the entire area. Beginning from the Fisheries College to the gate of Commerce College the flyover will be 610 meters long, 12 metres wide and 5.5 metres high.  As per the present situation, the area being a junction of Airport road, Durga Nursery road and Mali colony faces immense traffic pressure.

After the flyover is constructed, the traffic from Surajpole to Airport road will be at ease. There will be no traffic blockades at Durga Nursery road and Mali colony.
