Sons Donate Mother’s Body to RNT: Last Wish of the Deceased

Udaipur’s Rabindra Nath Tagore (RNT) Medical College has received the body of Late Charanjeet Kaur w/o Late. Avatar Singh Saluja as it was her last wish to donate her dead body for the use of any medical college. Survived by five sons, 75-year-old Charanjeet Kaur died on Saturday, 9th June at Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh.

Udaipur’s Rabindra Nath Tagore (RNT) Medical College has received the body of Late Charanjeet Kaur w/o Late. Avatar Singh Saluja as it was her last wish to donate her dead body for the use of any medical college. Survived by five sons, 75-year-old Charanjeet Kaur died on Saturday, 9th June at Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh.

Being dedicated member of the Lions Club, Late Charanjeet Kaur had declared long back about her wish to her family.

Per her last wish, Kaur’s family residing in Neemuch donated her body today to the RNT Medical College, Udaipur. According to her sons, their mother was highly inspired by the club’s social activities which had made her take this decision. Her body is kept in the mortuary of MB hospital.

Of Late Charanjeets five sons, Manjeet Singh is a Professor at a college in Neemuch while Surjeet Singh, Swarnjeet Singh, Ranjit Singh and Jagdish Singh are into timber business.

Walking on the footsteps of their mother, Manjeet Singh, Surjeet Singh and Swarnjeet Singh have also declared that on their death their bodies should also be donated to a Medical College.

Donated bodies are of great help for medical research and education. They are useful for understanding the human body and advancement of science and are also used by medical schools for teaching anatomy to medical students.
