Spy Ring in Terror Plot Busted in Delhi, Says Report

Several persons have reportedly been arrested allegedly on suspicion of collaborating with Pakistani agents in exchange for money

May 22, 2025 -  An alleged spy ring has reportedly been busted in New Delhi by the Indian intelligence agencies and two people have been arrested on the suspicion of planning terror strikes in the national capital, says a TOI report quoting sources. 

The report says that the two men were arrested after a meticulously planned three-month long undercover operation. They are believed to be linked to the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi. One was identified as Ansarul Miya Ansari who is alleged to be a Pakistani spy.

Two Pakistan High Commission officials - Muzammil and Ehsan-ur-Rahim (also known as Danish) - alleged to be ISI officers are said to also be involved in the plot, reports claim.

A spate of arrests are being made by the Indian authorities from different parts of the country. All the detained persons are suspected of passing on information to Pakistani agents in exchange for money, as per reports.
