Students' visit to California deferred due to non-availability of visa.

California trip of students going under start-up training programme has been cancelled.100 students from Rajasthan were supposed to go to California under the state start-up exposure programme. The scheduled date of departure was 31st July.

13 out of 100 students did not get visa for California. 10 students from Udaipur were going for this training programme, but one student did not get the visa. The programme has henceforth been deferred for the next fortnight. Date for departure is not yet finalised, but students are likely to leave after 15 days.

9 students are from Techno NJR College. As per Director Vyas of Techno NJR, all students have re-applied for visa. It may be noted that 100 students were selected for this start-up training programme in California’s Silicon Valley. The students were selected on the basis of their innovative ideas regarding start-ups.

Estimated budget on each student for this programme is 30 lakh rupees. All the 100 students were awarded by CM Raje in Rajasthan Digi Fest Bikaner 2018.
