Members of the Federation of Rajasthan Engineers have submitted a joint memorandum to the Collector of Udaipur District, demanding a hearing on their pending petition with the State Government addressing their grievance.

The Federation has instructed its members to observe a Mass Casual leave from duty on the 10^th of September, to elaborate their distress on not being given a positive response by the Government.

A three point demand made by the Federation to the State Government lists as under:

1. Central Salary Scale be given to all employees at all levels in the Engineering departments of the State Government

2. Automatic rise in salary scale to the next level of promotion on the completion of 6 years, 12 years, 18 years and 24 years of service.

3. Cadre Review and subsequent promotion at all levels in each department or undertaking of the Government, related to Development work.

The Mass Casual leave will affect working in the PWD, Water Works, Water Resources Division, Electricity Board, UDH, Agriculture Housing Board, etc.
