The Transport Department of the state government has approved of 16 new routes in Udaipur district in order to provide safe and efficient transport network for general public.

Regional Transport Officer Dr. Manna Lal Rawat informed that for few days, a survey was conducted in transport areas of Udaipur district to ascertain the possibility of providing business, social, education and road facilities to tribal and rural people living there.
He said that out of 61 routes being sent during the proposal, the state government has approved for 16 new routes that are- Som to Ambasa, Som to Rani, Kelwada to Dungarpur, Kelwada to Kotda, Gogunda to Kokhra, Gogunda to Panarwa, Jhadol to Ambasa, Gogunda to Jhadol, Jhadol to Khokhra, Jhadol to Panarwa, Jhadol to Serawada, Falasia to Serawada, Jhadol to Rani, Falasia to Khokhra, Khokhra to Baighatiya and Rani.
RTO further added that with the opening of these routes, the rural lives will get access to safe, cheap and resourceful transport facilities.
