Udaipur, October 25, 2024 - The Rajasthan government has announced a 3% increase in the Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) for serving and retired officers-employees, that is from 50% to 53%. This increase is effective July 1, 2024. The Finance Department issued this order yesterday, October 24.

As per the government order, the higher DA for the period of July 1 to October 31 would be deposited in the GPF account in accordance with the terms of the Rajasthan Government Employees General Provident Fund Rules, 2021. And the increased amount for November will be added to the salary paid in December.

Pensioners will receive the arrears from July in cash, although the payment, including arrears, will be made with the pension paid in December.
