Entry ticket rates for Bagore ki Haveli and Shilpgram are not to be changed. They will stay as is. This was declared by Governor Kalyan Singh on Thursday in a meeting of Governing body and Executive Board at West Zone Cultural Centre(WZCC).

The Governor said that the world must know about Indian culture. For this it is important that tourists visiting India get to witness Indian art, culture and heritage for which Bagore ki Haveli and Shilpgram are the ideal places in Udaipur. If ticket rates for these places are exorbitant, not all tourists will get a chance to witness the cultural side of Mewar. Hence there must be no change made to entry ticket rates of these important places which also hold value in Udaipur tourism.

Governor Kalyan Singh also laid emphasis on increasing cultural activities and programs. He said that WZCC must take steps to organise more cultural programs for all states of Rajasthan so that everyone gets to know the better and important side of Rajasthan.
