Udaipur: Call to strengthen electricity infrastructure and construct electrical substation in new settlements

A meeting took place on Friday 1 August, 2023 at the conference hall located at Patel Circle, organized by Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, as part of Rajasthan Mission 2030's initiative to develop a vision document. During this meeting, valuable input and suggestions were gathered from various stakeholders.

The Divisional Chief Engineer, Mahipal Singh Jhala, emphasized the importance of seeking suggestions to enhance power production and services. Retired Managing Director, B.L. Khamsara, put forth a significant recommendation to fortify the power system in anticipation of future demand. He also urged the Urban Improvement Trust (UIT) to consider allocating land to the corporation in areas experiencing load growth and new colony development, which would enable the construction of new electrical substations.

ADJ Kuldeep Sharma, presiding over the Permanent Lok Adalat, emphasized the need for the development of suitable policies aimed at effectively curbing electricity theft and promoting the utilization of solar energy. He also stressed the importance of raising awareness among the general public regarding these issues.

A meeting was convened on Friday 1 August, 2023 in the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium of the Municipal Corporation as part of Rajasthan Mission 2030. The purpose of this gathering was to solicit input from stakeholders, subject experts, and the general public. Officials representing different organizations also offered their suggestions, aiming to enhance government operations, promote paperless workflows, improve employee productivity, and address other pertinent issues.
