Student Election 2014 all set to go
Mohan Lal Sukhadia University Election preparation is taking its final shape at University campus. The voting will start from 30th in the morning at various affiliated colleges between 8 am to 1 pm. Counting of votes will be organized later in the evening.

Sources inform that with less than 48 hours left in voting, DSW (District Student Welfare) has discovered bogus in voters list. The names are said to be from Commerce, Arts and Science College.
Vinod Agarwal, Election officer informed that they received number of complaints from ABVP and NSUI over this issue. DSW has already uploaded on university website for cross verification. During voting process, students are required to carry common ID along with respective college ID.
Agarwal further added that total 11 candidates have been nominated for election on 4 posts. The posts include President, Vice President, General Secretary and Joint Secretary. In various affiliated colleges, more than 44 students have filed nomination on the post of College President.
University registrar R.P Sharma along with other officials inspected security measures in all the colleges. He informed that during vote counts, CCTV camera will also be installed at University Campus, so that transparency can be maintained.
Special arrangements has also been made by the officials of Udaipur Police Department for the University elections, to maintain law and order in the city. A team of 5 DySPs, 13 SHOs, 20 S.I and ASI and around 253 police men including head constables and constables will be deployed in the various area of the city during the election process.
