The water tank is 3 feet deep and the students were playing around it during lunch break.

5 students fell in a water tank in St. Mary's School in Titardi. The students were playing around the water tank during their lunch break. One student got injured.

On Monday the students of 7th grade were playing after having lunch in school. It was around 12 noon when the students were sitting on the top of the tank. After finishing their lunch, they started playing there itself. The slab at the tank broke when the students were playing and all the 5 students fell inside the water tank. One of the student suffered minor injury on his leg.

The school administration rushed the children to a private hospital without informing the parents about the incident. The parents were informed only around 2:30 p.m. It is just a matter of relief that the students are safe and none got seriously injured. The students were thoroughly examined by the medical team.

The parents are quite agitated by the fact that they were not informed when the students were being rushed to the hospital. They also raised questions about he presence of water tank at the lunch ground. It has also been informed that the school principal did not respond to the phone call when the news agencies tried to contact her. She did not even respond to their messages.
